not sure, but I do know of a illegal trout hole there.

o'ya... use to ride the hydraulics in the Richfield station in el monte back in the 60's as well.

it must of been that playland jones... wonder if Mickey uses the spining disc with his 10' tiko drum ?

I think that HS closed some years back, and as a completely anglo-sized white kid, I always said "dell vall yeah" but someone in the know (Spanish) said it once and I didn't know what they were talking about...I think Campolindo was further west from DV.

That is funny. As another white kid, I always said "del vie yay" which actually should be close to the proper Spanish pronunciation. Did you grow up in the East Bay, WT?

Ha! Yep, I did; think you came close to what I was trying to spell out there, but the person that spoke Spanish said the first "l" should be silent, and the pair should be pronounced as "i" + "yeah" (thus, "de vai yeah").

Crap, I am just no good at this letter combo prounciation shit.
